Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), consisting of the first 29 amino acids of the full 44-amino acid sequence—recognized as the biologically active portion. It is studied for its ability to stimulate the anterior pituitary gland to increase secretion of endogenous growth hormone (GH) in research models.
