For Research Use Only (RUO) Peptides

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

We are one of the largest and most respected peptide suppliers in the United States, serving research institutions and laboratories nationwide. Our reputation is built on three pillars: quality without compromise, complete transparency, and responsive partnership with the research community.

We have processed hundreds of thousands of successful fulfillments with an exceptional quality record. Our longevity and volume in this space reflect the trust we have earned from discerning researchers who demand high-quality products.

We partner with:

Research institutions and laboratories.

Academic research facilities

Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies

Contract research organizations (CROs)

Scientists and researchers conducting peptide studies.

Our products serve legitimate research applications space.

MANUFACTURING & QUALITY

All our peptides are compounded in United States-based facilities that operate under strict cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols. We do not source finished products from overseas manufacturers.

cGMP refers to the same manufacturing standards required for pharmaceutical drug production, enforced by the FDA. This includes:

Controlled, validated manufacturing environments

Documented standard operating procedures for every process.

Trained personnel with ongoing competency verification

Equipment calibration and maintenance protocols

Complete batch documentation and traceability

Quality control testing at multiple production stages

Deviation investigation and corrective action systems

When we say, "cGMP manufactured," we mean our products are made using the same rigorous process controls as FDA-approved medications.

Our manufacturing partners maintain validated processes with defined parameters for every synthesis. Each batch undergoes identical quality control testing before release. Products that do not meet our specifications are rejected—we do not adjust standards to move inventory.

Yes, all our products are manufactured under strict cGMP Quality Control Standards to ensure they are free of unintended substances that could interfere with their intended application. Our peptides and compounds undergo rigorously third-party testing at a US-based Testing Facility.

TESTING & CERTIFICATES OF ANALYSIS

Every batch undergoes comprehensive third-party analysis including:

HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) Confirms purity percentage.

Mass Spectrometry — Verifies molecular identity and mass.

Visual Inspection — Verifies appearance and absence of particulates.

Our consistent product quality is achieved through repeatable, documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at every stage of manufacturing. This systematic approach ensures that every batch meets identical specifications.

All Certificates of Analysis are processed by an independent, US-based analytical laboratory. Third-party testing eliminates conflicts of interest and ensures objective results.

We maintain strict release criteria. Products must meet our purity thresholds and pass all safety tests before becoming available. We do not release borderline products—if a batch does not meet our standards, it is rejected.

Each COA includes batch-specific information that can be verified upon request. We are happy to provide additional documentation or connect you directly with our testing laboratory for any batch in question.

HPLC tells you how pure the sample is (e.g., 98% purity means 98% of the sample is the target molecule)

Mass spectrometry tells you what the molecule is by confirming its molecular weight matches the expected compound.

Together, they answer: "Is this the right molecule, and is it pure?" Both are essential.

UNDERSTANDING THE REGULATORY LANDSCAPE

The "research use only" (RUO) designation indicates these products are intended for laboratory research and are not approved for human or veterinary diagnostic or therapeutic use. Here is the distinction:

FDA-approved pharmaceuticals have completed clinical trials proving safety and efficacy for specific medical conditions in humans.

503A/503B compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies under state board oversight for individual patient prescriptions.

Research use only peptides are manufactured to high quality standards for use in research settings and have not undergone the FDA approval process.

The approval process establishes that a drug works for a specific condition. It does not, by itself, determine manufacturing quality. Our cGMP manufacturing and rigorous testing ensure quality; what we lack is FDA approval for specific therapeutic claims.

FDA approval requires:

Phase I, II, and III clinical trials (often $100M+ and 10+ years)

Application fees and ongoing compliance costs

Patent protection to justify investment.

Many peptides are naturally occurring compounds that cannot be patented, making the traditional pharmaceutical approval pathway economically unviable. This is a business reality, not a quality issue.

RUO products are intended for:

In vitro research and experimentation

Assay development and validation.

Preclinical studies

Basic science research

RUO products are not intended for:

Human or animal diagnostic procedures

Therapeutic administration of humans or animals

Clinical use of any kind

Products sold by Simple Peptide Wholesale do not require a prescription and are intended for Research applications Only. All of our products meet the standards defined in cGMP Regulations.

PEPTIDE QUALITY & CHARACTERISTICS

Peptides have characteristics that make them valuable research tools:

Made of amino acids — the same building blocks that make up every protein in the human body.

Naturally signaling molecules — many peptides are identical or analogous to endogenous compounds.

Targeted mechanism — peptides typically interact with specific receptors, making them useful for studying biological pathways.

Well-characterized — peptide structure and purity can be verified through established analytical methods.

We have shipped hundreds of thousands of orders with zero product-quality-related issues. At that volume, quality problems would surface. Our consistent results reflect our commitment to cGMP manufacturing and rigorous third-party testing.

QUALITY & HISTORY

We have fulfilled hundreds of thousands of orders with an exceptional quality profile. Our consistent results reflect our commitment to cGMP manufacturing, documented SOPs, and third-party testing on every batch.

We take every quality inquiry seriously. Any reported concern triggers investigation, documentation, and—where appropriate—batch review. We maintain this vigilance because our reputation depends on consistent, reliable products.

Every complaint is:

Documented and investigated.

Traced to the specific batch

Reviewed for patterns or systemic issues.

Resolved with the customer

We view complaints as quality data. If something goes wrong, we want to know—and we want to make it right.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight:

Before reconstitution:

- Refrigerated (2-8°C / 35-46°F) for short-term storage
- Frozen (-20°F or below) for long-term storage
- Shelf-stable for 6-12 months when stored at 72°F or less
- 5 years or greater when stored below -20°F

After reconstitution:

- Refrigerated between 35°F and 43°F (2-6°C) to slow the degradation process
- Used within recommended timeframe (typically 2-4 weeks)

Protect from:

- Light
- Heat
- Repeated freeze-thaw cycles

Specific storage instructions may vary per product.

Lyophilized peptides typically maintain stability for 12-24 months when safely stored. Reconstituted peptides should be used within the period specified for each product—typically 2-4 weeks refrigerated.

Our peptides ship in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form, which is highly temperature stable during transport. Lyophilized peptides do not require cold-chain shipping and maintain their integrity under normal shipping conditions. Reconstitution is performed by the end user after delivery.
